Audacity Theory

Audacity Theory is one of the programs available to The Lions’ Sanctuary Community.

A long time ago, I realized that many things in life cannot be accomplished without a certain degree of boldness. Call it audacity.

To achieve a goal, a dream, a life ambition, one has to take the bull by the horns and plunge in, regardless of uncertainties, perceived inadequacies or the wrong environment, in some cases.

You are your greatest cheerleader. You are the missing link to anything spectacular that will happen in your life. You are the captain of your destiny.

This is why Audacity Theory was born. If you have read the story of The Lion’s Sanctuary on Our Story page, you would have discovered that The Lions’ sanctuary derived its name from the simple concept that boldness is required to survive the “wild, wild jungle” of any life situation.

One of the inevitable life situations that we face is development in our chosen field of work. Achieving a go-getter mentality that takes us from starting out afresh to building work expertise. Hopefully, such career growth would mean increase in salaries, resources, and ability to start growing wealth.

Audacity theory focuses particularly on the development of immigrants. In a recent study by the organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the data shows that about 30% of immigrants to the EU live in relative poverty, one in four live in substandard housing, and some experiencing 10% lower income than native-born persons. In Canada, Statistics Canada reported that “poverty was more prevalent among immigrants than among native-born Canadians.”

While the numbers are not shockingly high, there remains a concern for the wellbeing and acclimation of individuals who migrate to new countries seeking better economic conditions for their families. For this cause, the Audacity theory program was born: An incubator specifically geared towards helping the average immigrant’s journey from job to resource ownership to wealth generation.
